Chickens 101 in 2021

​Eggcited to host our fifth Chickens 101 this year, on September 26, 2021. This class covers the basic information you will need to know to keep urban hens in the Edmonton area. Topics include coop design; hen feeding and general care; winter needs and concerns; breed selection, buying hens, and flock introductions; predator and vermin prevention; waste management; chicken health; disease prevention; and waste management. The class will be held via Zoom.
